What is Prairie Land Conservancy?
We are your local accredited land trust, and we work with landowners to help protect their natural areas, open spaces, farmlands, and forests. PLC is one of more than 1700 land trusts across the country committed to preserving land.

Locations
PLC serves thirteen counties in central Illinois, between the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers, and we are always open to new projects in and around our current area.
These counties are: Adams, Brown, Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Knox, McDonough, Peoria, Pike, Schuyler, Warren, Mercer, and Tazewell.
