Alice Henry is a retired biologist and Registered Dietitian. Alice is a long-time McDonough County resident and a three-time graduate of Western Illinois University. In addition to serving the PLC board, she currently sits on the board of directors of Prairie Hills Resource Conservation and Development as President. Alice has also served on the McDonough County Board as Finance Committee Chair and on the Prairie State Conservation Coalition Board.
Alice is passionate about land preservation! She and her husband Bob Henry, have personally preserved 265 acres in McDonough County including an IDNR Land and Water Reserve and a dedicated Illinois Nature Preserve. Besides her passion for conservation, Alice's hobbies include enjoying travel experiences and being a wine enthusiast.
